New branch for Bank of Valletta in Fgura

Bank of Valletta’s new branch in Fgura is now open for business. The new branch, situated at 10, Hompesch Road, offers a full range of banking services, including bancassurance, the sale of collective investment schemes, a full range of deposit products, homelink packages, personal loans, foreign services and others. The branch also caters for those customers who would wish to make use of the wide range of ATM services offered by BOV thanks to the new Cashlink Automated Teller Machine (ATM) installed outside the branch.

The opening of a new branch in Fgura is the Bank’s latest initiative in line with its relationship banking strategy. The new Fgura branch is designed to complement the Bank’s efforts to offer a personalised service to customers in a friendly environment. The decision to open a new customer service outlet in Fgura also goes to show the Bank’s commitment to adapt to the needs of the community in which it operates.

The BOV Fgura branch is being headed by Branch Manager Edward Grech BA (Hons) Accts., C.P.A., F.I.A., M.I.M. Mr Grech has been employed with Bank of Valletta since 1984 where he gained extensive experience at various branches namely Valletta’s Republic Street between 1989-1991, Naxxar between 1991-1998 and Preluna Towers between 1999-2001. He also gained work experience abroad when he was posted for a few months at the Bank’s Australia Representative Office in 1998.

Mr. Grech will be assisted by Mario Bonello ACII. Mr Bonello, who has been appointed Head, Banking Services has been employed with BOV since 1987 has also worked at various BOV branches including those at Hamrun, Mosta, St Paul’s Bay and Msida.
