Malta’s member, the Federation of Associations of Travel & Tourism Agents – Malta (FATTA), was represented by its President, Joe Borg Olivier who has contested the post for Director of Europe 2 (Region 4).

Mr. Borg Olivier was re elected as Director for Region 4 for a term of two years. This region is composed of Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Israel, Latvia, Macedonia, Malta, Poland, Rumania, Slovenia, Yugoslavia and Turkey.

At its first meeting the UFTAA President and Board distributed responsibilities to each Director and allocated the portfolio of Congresses Director and Incoming Tourism Director to Mr Borg Olivier.
