Home owners set to benefit from HSBC's home credit

HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c. has launched a new lending product called Home Credit.
This new product offers home owners the opportunity to borrow amounts over Lm2,000 for any purpose. Home Credit loans benefit from significantly reduced interest rates and repayments can be spread over a maximum of 20 years, making it ideal for those who wish to keep their monthly expenses at a minimum.

HSBC's Home Credit, which is replacing the Equity Release Loan, levies an interest rate at 1.75% per annum lower than the one applied for Flexicredit loan rate. As an additional introductory bonus, all processing fees for Home Credit loans, which are applied for not later than 12 July 2002, will be waived.

Through HSBC's Home Credit, the Bank is continuing to reward home owners by giving them the opportunity to borrow money for any purpose whatsoever. Loans can be repaid over as much as twenty years and with a reduced interest rate leading to very low monthly repayments," said Mr Christopher Cini, Home Credit Product Manager at HSBC.
HSBC has also just launched a new brochure entitled "Borrowing Money". The brochure provides the necessary information to home owners who wish to apply for HSBC's Home Credit. It also provides details of all HSBC loans products and is available from any HSBC branch in Malta and Gozo.

Further information can also be obtained by calling HSBC's freephone help line on 0800 77 44 44.
