Bank of Valletta sign collective agreement with MUBE

"The Collective Agreement which Bank of Valletta has signed with the MUBE is an important achievement which will contribute positively towards the future development of the Bank and the career development of its employees". This was stated by BOV Chairman, Joseph F X Zahra, as he exchanged the signed Collective Agreement with William Portelli, President of the MUBE, during the formal signing ceremony held today at the BOV Chairman’s Office in Valletta.

Mr Zahra expressed his satisfaction on the cordial and cooperative environment in which the negotiations were conducted. He said that for both the Bank and the Union, this Agreement had all the ingredients necessary to project BOV as a strong organization into the future, serving as basis for discussions on how to enhance the concepts of meritocracy. "The two sides are committed to explore new ideas that will continue to improve working conditions for the benefit of all employees", said Mr. Zahra.
