As from Sunday 1 August 2004, all incoming calls to Maltacom’s Directory Enquiries Service (1182) will be charged at the rate of 10c +VAT per call.
Previously the service was offered for free.
The 1182 service is available 24x7 and offers directory information for telephone numbers listed in Maltacom’s directory database and also for telephone numbers of registered customers with the two local mobile phone operators – Vodafone and go mobile.
In its statement Maltacom reminded customers that it also offers alternative ways of obtaining directory information including the new 2004 telephone directory, which was distributed free of charge to all Maltacom subscribers.
It contains updated information pertaining to fixed telephone lines (business and residential) in the Maltese Islands; telefax numbers and information focused on Maltacom services and systems
Another solution is the on-line directory available at the Maltacom Group portal www.maltacom.com.
The Maltacom directory is also available on CD ROM, which can be purchased from all Maltacom Branch Offices at Lm2.50. |
