Amitex gets 30,000 visitors

The Air Malta International Travel Exhibition (AMITEX) 2005 held last weekend at the Trade Fair grounds in Naxxar was an outstanding success that attracted around 30,000 visitors over four days according to the national carrier’s chairman Lawrence Zammit.
Commenting on this year’s AMITEX, Air Malta Chief Officer Strategic Planning Dominic Attard said, “AMITEX has once again been an outstanding success. In terms of attendance our forecasts have been reached. Moreover the exhibitors have expressed satisfaction with the turnout. Indications are on the whole the trade have been pleased with the demand which visitors have shown in the products on offer.”
“We want to thank the public who supported this event as well as our partners who exhibited and placed their trust in this event. This is another demonstration of Air Malta’s commitment to our community,” Attard said.
