Major upgrading project for Sunny Coast Resort Club

The Sunny Coast Resort Club has recently completed a major refurbishment project aimed at upgrading the facilities offered at this hotel. The refurbishment project includes major works on the pool deck and lido which now include a large extension, featuring a waterfall, gazeboes and a number of outdoor Jacuzzis.
With this extension the area of the lido has nearly doubled offering extensive space for sun-beds and leisure activities. Along the lido a number of palm trees have been planted which apart from offering shade throughout the summer months, help to give the area more of a summer beach atmosphere. In the evenings the atmosphere changes and the whole area will be transformed into an outside diner, offering a selection of mouth-watering pizzas together with Barbeques on selected nights. Apart from events organised by the resort, the lido area will also be open for private functions.
The upgrading project also included works in the lobby and front office desk area, which was given a total make-over including new flooring. Other refurbishment work was conducted in the self-catering apartments. The works in a selection of the apartments included the installation of new kitchens, appliances together with plastering and other routine works. Further works were carried out in the lounge bar and the lifts.
Speaking about the refurbishment works the hotel’s general manager, David Jaccarini said that “although routine refurbishments works are carried out on a regular basis, this is one of the largest projects undertaken by the hotel since its opening in 1986. The works started in February and were completed in record time. We have undertaken this major refurbishment project as part of our efforts to offer our foreign and local guests excellent service in a stylish and pleasant environment.”
The Sunny Coast Resort Club is also sought after for its wide range of facilities that include water sports such as skiing, windsurfing, canoeing, scuba diving with internationally qualified instructors, jet-bikes and power boats. It also boasts excellent indoor and outdoor restaurants and bars, a sports centre which consists of gym rooms, sauna, squash court, indoor Jacuzzi, hydro therapy baths and much more.
