Multiplus launches with a bang

Multiplus is announcing a set of special attractive offers in conjunction with the company’s first participation at this year’s International Trade Fair in Naxxar.
In fact, subscribers to the SILVER+ Package which costs Lm5 per month will be given a FREE subscription to the Serie A package. A minimum of three Serie A matches will be aired LIVE every weekend thanks to a deal landed recently by Multiplus for the distribution of Italian Serie A in Malta as from the next football season 2005/2006.
The deal covers the home matches of the main Serie A teams including Milan, Inter, Juventus and Roma. The Silver+ package contains a large number of high quality channels; fantastic quality and value for money.
The second attractive incentive is an offer whereby new subscribers may choose to pay a deposit of Lm37 on their digital set top box and pay the remaining Lm50 in monthly instalments of Lm1 or else, benefit from a one-time discounted payment of Lm67. This forms part of Multiplus’ recently announced special pre-launch offer whereby the reduced rate of Lm67 (instead of Lm87) for the Multiplus set-top-box decoder has been extended till the end of the Trade Fair.
“This will be our first participation at the International Trade Fair and we are looking forward to this opportunity to meet closely with our customers and the public in general,” said Multiplus CEO Jan Spiteri. “This will also be an ideal opportunity for all those who have been following Multiplus to have a closer look at the way we are operating as well as to find out more about why Multiplus should be their obvious choice when it comes to switching to digital television. The above special offers are a way to show that we do mean business and that we are ready to offer our loyal customers the best value for money packages. They also prove that Multiplus is truly committed to making interactive digital TV services not only available but also accessible to everyone.” added Dr Spiteri.
Multiplus Network incurs a minimal cost of Lm 12 per year or a one-off fee of Lm84. Once on the network, people can enjoy the TV and enhanced services available on the network and the interactive services that will be developed in due course. With regard to the TV services anyone on the network will have automatic access to the Free+ package of channels and they will then have the option to subscribe to the pay TV services against regular monthly subscriptions or simply pay for content they wish to view `on-demand`. (eg. PPV). Pay-per-view.
Pay-per-view services that will be introduced in the near future, shall be available to all customers on the Multiplus network and these will not be limited solely to football matches but will also be extended to movies and other events.
Multiplus technicians will deliver the set-top-box and test your existing antenna at no cost. Should the antenna not be adequate, Multiplus also offers installation services including a new small antenna at a nominal cost.
Multiplus will be commencing its commercial operations for Digital Terrestrial Television on 1st July, however the public who wants to start enjoying the digital quality channels at a low cost is invited to start enjoying the advantageous benefits being offered by Multiplus by visiting their stand No 80B at the Trade Fair in Naxxar or by registering on the company’s website www.multiplus.com.mt.
