Valletta Waterfront hosts International Wine Fair

Valletta Waterfront will host the second edition of the Valletta International Wine Fair this coming weekend, 8, 9 and 10 July 2005. Following the recent completion of the restoration of the Pinto Stores and the opening of the first outlets, this year’s fair will be held outdoors along the laguna’s edge. The fair will offer wine lovers the opportunity to sample both local and foreign wines including champagnes within the beautiful setting offered by Valletta Waterfront and the Grand Harbour.
“The first edition of the Valletta International Wine Fair was held within the Pinto Stores and attracted an impressive 20,000 visitors. This year, the fair will move outdoors to offer visitors the chance to thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere which the Valletta Waterfront generates,” said Chris Falzon, Chief Executive Officer at VISET plc, operators at Valletta Waterfront.
Apart from the range of wines available, this year’s Valletta International Wine Fair will also offer visitors a range of foods and coffees from around the world, products which are renowned for complementing fine wines. The fair will be open to the public on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7.30pm onwards.
