GFI LANguard is gold winner

GFI announced that TechTarget's SearchWindowsSecurity.com has selected GFI's security scanning and patch management application, GFI LANguard Network Security Scanner (N.S.S), as Gold Winner of the Testing and Auditing category of its 2005 'Products of the Year' awards. Every year, editors at TechTarget's portfolio of Windows sites, together with a panel of independent judges, scour the market for the year's most innovative products delivering value to Windows IT shops.
GFI LANguard Network Security Scanner was chosen from among 175 new products submitted for consideration to SearchWindowsSecurity.com editors in three categories. The awards were judged by the editors of TechTarget's SearchWindowsSecurity.com, in conjunction with a team of users, industry experts, analysts and consultants. Judges selected the Products of the Year among testing and auditing products introduced, upgraded and shipped between 30 September, 2004 and 1 October, 2005. The winners were selected according innovation, performance, ease of integration into existing environments, ease of use and manageability, functionality and value.
