Global Financial Services Group yesterday announced that Ian Zammit will be overseeing the company’s insurance division after the resignation of Simon Anastasi from the post of chief officer.
The announcement on the Malta Stock Exchange said that Zammit will occupy a non-executive role. Zammit is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Insurance (ACII) and has extensive experience in insurance. He has headed the British American Insurance Co.
(Mtius.) Ltd agency in Malta for numerous years and is currently non-executive chairman of British American Insurance Co. (Malta) Ltd.
Zammit also currently holds the post of director on a number of companies including BUPA Agencies Limited, My Insurance Brokers Limited, Quadrant Limited, Central Landmark Development Limited, Globe Properties Limited, Metropolis Developments Limited, Britam Limited, British American Holdings (Malta) Ltd and Bramwell Limited.
Zammit formerly held the post of director of Globe Financial Management Limited.
In its announcement, the Global Group said there was no matter concerning either Anastasi or Zammit requiring disclosure under listing rules. |
