Computer Solutions in aid of Multiple Sclerosis Society

Computer Solutions held the first of a series of social company events, whereby, the staff attended an Arabian food night at the Corinthia San Gorg - where the concept of food sharing was introduced.
The chef presented an array of Middle Eastern dishes. Following the exquisite dinner, the staff had an auction sale among themselves in aid of The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Malta. Each member of staff donated a gift which was auctioned off to other members of staff. The gifts included a tool kit, a selection of foreign wines, paintings and other interesting items. Subsequently, proceeds from the auction were handed over to The Treasurer, of The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Malta, Godfrey Leone Ganado.
Amongst various services, the Society offers ongoing support to patients and their families. It also holds regular meetings for its members, giving them the chance to interact. Furthermore, it provides physiotherapy services held at the patients’ home at a subsidised rate. This service has proved to be very useful and beneficial leading to an increasing demand for it. Equally successful and popular are the group psychotherapy sessions.
Ideally, the Society wishes to offer psychotherapy on an individual basis but its limited funds preclude it from embarking on this step as yet.
Applying the philosophy that the company strives to build social and ethical considerations into its business practices, Computer Solutions shall be contributing regular donations to this Society throughout the year. The goal is to organise participative and energising activities to maintain morale, respect and trust amongst the team and in society. Furthermore, these activities inspire a spirit of corporate solidarity.
