Marsovin takes Prague, eyes new frontiers

Marsovin officially launched its wines in the capital of the Cezch Republic, Prague. This event was hosted at the Regina Hotel, where Marsovin director Jeremy Cassar introduced the winery and its wines to an audience of wine journalists, restaurant owners, hoteliers and wine lovers.
Marsovin’s aim is to target high profile consumers interest in superior quality wines. The launch in Prague marks the very beginning of what promises to be a prosperous future for Marsovin wines in Europe and beyond. The aim is to penetrate markets such as the Czech Republic, Sweden, Germany, United Kingdom and the USA, holding a modest presence in each market promoting Marsovin’s premium wines.
The Czech media showed a keen interest in the winery, and wine journalist Jan Cervorsky who visited the Marsovin winery and vineyards and tasted all the wines available in Malta, published a four-page article in a prominent Czech wine review.
Cervorsky said that Marsovin offers the broadest range of quality Maltese wines: “Maltese wines are new in the world of wine,” he said, “but the quality is as fine as any other premium wine produced around the world… Production is limited for those few who really know their wines,” he added.
Cassar said: “This is an exciting time for Marsovin. We are very glad to see our wines appreciated by wine lovers in the Czech Republic and we now look forward to introducing them to other markets.”
