HSBC installs new ATM at Mater Dei Hospital

HSBC recently installed an ATM at Mater Dei Hospital. This extends HSBC’s own local ATM network to 73 machines. In 2007, ATM usage continued to increase significantly over the previous year with the most popular transaction, at 94%, being withdrawal of cash.
Ray Briffa, HSBC’s Head of Channel Management, said: “As the rhythm of life becomes faster and banking facilities more user-friendly, customers are turning to automated services more frequently to save time.
“It is becoming increasingly clear that customers prefer to visit our branches only for banking which requires personalised attention. It is for this reason that HSBC continues to invest in a wider ATM infrastructure to bring the Bank closer to its customers’ needs.
