Maltese workers impress Rock VIPs during London Concert

Ms Nadine Cini from Luqa and her partner Jean Pierre Azzopardi from St Lucia, Malta’s Ambassadors of Rock thanks to Hard Rock Café Malta had a great experience during this year’s Hard Rock Calling, the mega concert with major attractions which took place in London earlier this month. Thanks to Airmalta who provided the air flights, to Pepsi Max who constantly believe in the Hard Rock Brand and Bay Radio who where promoters of the competition, Nadine’s dream could come true. Nadine won the competition on Bay Radio which permitted her to choose a friend to go with her to the London concert, a must see for Rock enthusiasts which is now taking place each year.
In the meantime, major success was registered by four Hard Rock Café Malta employees who took the opportunity to join other Hard Rock Café workers from around the globe and work in the VIP tent and VIP Centre Stage during the concert, serving the rock legends taking part in the Hard Rock Calling Concert 2008. The Maltese workers who made us proud are Gordon Muscat, JeanLuke Schembri, Roanna Mallia and Ruben Debono. Their diligence and hard working attitude helped them to outshine the other workers, so much so that Hard Rock Café European HR Manager Debbie Galbraith wrote to the local representatives to congratulate them for the extremely well trained staff.
One month ago, Hard Rock Café Malta was declared best Franchise HRC worldwide. During a celebration party organized by the owners of Hard Rock Café Malta, to which the American Ambassador attended, Silvio Debono Managing Director of the Seabank Group of which Hard Rock Café Malta forms part, thanked all those customers who continue to believe in the prestigious Hard Rock Café brand. It is thanks to our loyal customers that we continue to strive to get better results in all sectors of the hospitality industry, Debono said.
Hard Rock Café Malta operates three outlets comprising of its main restaurant in Bay Street which is now open even for Saturday and Sunday lunches with resident animators to entertain families with children. The other two outlets are the Hard Rock Bar at the Valletta Waterfront and the one at Malta’s International Airport.
