BOV installs recycling collection box at head office

As part of Bank of Valletta’s ongoing commitment to make a positive contribution towards the environment, a new Recycling Collection Box has been installed at the Bank’s Head Office.
Situated in a prominent location, the Recycling Collection Box can be used by BOV staff members to dispose of items such as mobile phones, batteries and printer cartridges. These objects contain toxic elements that can be harmful if released into the environment as regular waste.
With over 550 employees working at the BOV Head Office, the number of items that can be collected in the Recycling Collection Box will have a significant positive effect on the amount of toxic objects that will not be discarded into the environment. The items that will be collected from the Recycling Collection Box will be then disposed of in special containers that will not allow the toxic chemicals to be released in the environment.
Bank of Valletta installed the Recycling Collection Box as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility and its efforts to make a difference in the communities within which it operates.
