Vodafone sets up Mclaren Mercedes Pit Stop Challenge at the Trade Fair

Vodafone Malta Limited is giving its customers the opportunity to experience the thrill of the Formula One at this year’s Malta International Trade Fair, which will be held at the
MFCC in Ta’ Qali between Thursday 25 June and Sunday 5 July.
Customers visiting the Vodafone stand will have the opportunity to participate in the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Pit Stop Challenge. This is a unique experience, whereby one must try and change the wheels of a Vodafone McLaren Mercedes replica car. This will be taking place on the Vodafone stand daily. The stand is located at I9 near the entrance. Daily prizes consisting of Vodafone products and services can also be won.
Visitors on the stand can get information on Vodafone’s latest offerings. These include the unlimited SMS offer which is valid until 31 August 2009, whereby for just €2 a week, Vodafone prepaid customers can send unlimited SMS to all Vodafone numbers. Customers on a postpaid tariff can send also unlimited SMS for only €5 per month.
During the past year, Vodafone introduced some of the trendiest devices and gadgets now available in the market. The iPhone 3G, the full range of BlackBerry smartphones, and a variety of other handsets can be experienced on the stand, and Vodafone’s friendly representatives will be happy to assist customers choose the right device to suit their lifestyle.
There will be special offers for customers looking for Home Internet packages. Vodafone is offering 50 per cent off the first six months of connection of Home Internet and Home&Beyond. On the other hand, customers seeking mobile broadband can subscribe to the Liberty Platinum Unlimited plan, which is available on the Vodafone Internet Key or Mini PC. Customers can get the Vodafone Internet Key for free upon a 12 month subscription to this plan. This offer is valid during the Trade Fair period only.
Customers who take up a two-year subscription on the Smart 60+ or Heavyweight Knockout Pay Monthly plans, will get the Dell Inspiron Mini 9 and six months Vodafone mobile broadband access fee including a1GB monthly data bundle for only €90. This offer is valid until 31st July or until stocks last.
With the Vodafone InOffice professionals and small businesses can have their fixed-line number on their mobile, whatever the model or technology used, using only one operator and one handset to make and receive calls both in the office and on the move. One can also get more information on this innovative and convenient product from the Vodafone stand.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to contribute to a better environment by returning old mobile phones and their accessories for recycling at the Trade Fair. Vodafone is giving away three (3) months home internet for free to those customers who hand in old mobile phones for recycling. This incentive is applicable to the first 100 customers.
