BOV Tunisia Hosts Business Delegation

Officials from Bank of Valletta’s Representative Office in Tunisia recently hosted members of the Tunisian business delegation who visited Malta for the seminar ‘Doing Business with Tunisia’, which was held at the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry. Her Excellency Ms Vicki Ann Cremona, Maltese Ambassador to Tunisia was also present for the occasion.
Julian Holland, Manager BOV Tunisia, welcomed the guests and commented, “Bank of Valletta is fully geared to assist Maltese and Tunisian businesses. We can organise match-making events, arrange B-to-B meetings, as well as facilitate business partnerships, which in this ever-changing scenario is essential for the penetration of new markets.
The BOV Tunisia Office endeavours to extend its cooperation and business relationship services to Maltese and foreign companies that have a presence in the region. Tunisia has a strong bilateral agreement with the EU, and Malta’s strategic location on the confines of the EU and the eurozone offers a platform from which business between Europe and North Africa can be conducted”, concluded Mr Holland.
BOV Tunisia also has a close working relationship with the main Tunisian governmental agencies responsible for import/export, foreign direct investment and small and medium sized enterprises, a network that can be of benefit to the Maltese business community.
The Bank’s Tunisia office is situated at apartment No.C3, Third Floor, Immeuble Lotus, Rue du Lac Lockness, 1053 Les Berges du Lac – Tunis, and may be contacted on telephone numbers 00216 7196 2228, fax number 00216 7196 2291 or via e-mail on [email protected].
