As part of its contingency planning against the spread of COVID-19, APS Bank has issued instructions for the protection of customers and staff throughout its network.

These are being communicated via posters, graphics on the screens in the branches as well as on social media. The instructions range from basic hygiene to more formal protocol with regard to meetings and contacts. The Bank has a detailed Pandemic Contingency Plan in place that is activated according to the severity of the situation.

Moreover, as communicated by the Malta Bankers’ Association (MBA), APS Bank confirms its commitment to engage with customers and sectors who are being adversely affected by COVID-19 to determine if any supporting measures are required in the circumstances. Each case would be treated on its own specific merits.

Hervé Delpech, Chief Strategy Officer at APS Bank, commented that, “Being the community bank, customer and staff safety are our priority. And we want to continuously support our customers with their banking needs, especially in such times.”
