JLTV'S Air Land & Sea episode featuring Malta’s Jewish history wins two major awards

Jewish Life TV’s (JLTV) Air Land & Sea episode on The Jewish History of Magnificent Malta won two prestigious media awards.

The first was Best In Class - News & Broadcasts from the Religion Communicators Council and the second was a Silver award in the 2023 World Media Festival - Travel & Tourism, held in Hamburg, Germany.

Produced and hosted by Brad Pomerance, the two-hour programme premiered on JLTV in 2022. One of four episodes focusing on Jewish heritage in Malta took the audience on a remarkable journey, uncovering the history of Maltese Jewry, believed to be one of the oldest Jewish communities in the entire world.

Carlo Micallef, CEO, Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) congratulated Brad Pomerance and the entire JLTV crew and noted: “Malta has the history, sites, and attractions but the JLTV team did a magnificent job to film, produce and present Malta’s rich Jewish Heritage to a large audience. These awards bring further recognition to Jewish Heritage Malta and are a great honour to MTA and all the partners in Malta that helped make this happen.”
