MDB discusses its key operations and initiatives during visit from energy transition expert

Malta Development Bank Chairman Leo Brincat, CEO Paul V. Azzopardi and deputy CEO Alison Micallef hosted a courtesy meeting with Mats Persson, Partner, EY UK, at the Bank’s offices in Floriana.

During the meeting, the MDB's senior management provided an overview of the Bank’s key operations and initiatives, highlighting its role in financing projects across various sectors, including SMEs, large enterprises, social and infrastructural development, and education.

Mr. Persson, who has extensive expertise in energy transition and policy-led transformation, discussed global trends in sustainable finance and economic resilience, exploring areas of potential collaboration and knowledge exchange.
