Real estate technology platform Darscover has announced full market coverage for Gozo and new regional search tools for Malta, as the local property sector continues to digitalise and competition among portals intensifies.

The platform, built in Malta, structures several thousand listings from local agencies and private owners into a single, searchable database. With the latest update, users can search specifically within Gozo or filter by regions such as the south, north and central Malta, while agencies gain access to granular demand insights.

According to Joe Ellul-Turner, CEO of Darscover, the change is designed to serve both sides of the market. “For consumers, the question is simple: where can I actually live within my budget? For agencies, it’s about understanding where interest is shifting: is it Gozitan farmhouses, seaside apartments in the south (https://darscover.com/for_rent/south), or urban homes in central Malta (https://darscover.com/for_sale/central)? Our platform tries to answer both.”

Gozo’s market has traditionally been driven by second homes, short-lets and tourism-linked investments, but the rise of remote work has also fuelled interest from year-round residents. By integrating Gozo fully into its search experience, Darscover aims to provide consistent data on prices, stock and time-on-market across both islands.

For agencies, Darscover offers a CRM, branch-level analytics and a pay-per-lead system with monthly caps, which it says are intended to keep marketing costs predictable. Branch managers can filter performance by region and property type, allowing them to allocate budgets where demand is strongest.

“Malta and Gozo will always have a relationship built on mobility: people commuting, relocating, retiring or investing across both islands,” Ellul-Turner said. “If we want a healthy market, we need clear information and tools that work at regional level, not just island-wide averages.”

Darscover plans to use the new Gozo data to publish periodic insights on regional trends, including which localities are attracting the most search activity and what types of property are proving most resilient in a changing economy.
