MIM and MUBE to organize seminar

The Malta Institute of Management and the Malta Union of Bank Employees are organising a seminar on the 24th May 2007 treating the subject of Business Continuity and Disaster recovery in the financial services sector
Most firms in the financial sector are ready to deal with potential threats to business continuity. From a recent survey of leading companies, it was concluded that the major players in the financial system take their business continuity planning responsibility very seriously and will continue to refine their arrangements so as to maintain and increase their already high level of resilience.
This seminar, the first of its kind in Malta, shall be the premier forum for the discussion of business continuity and disaster recovery issues in the financial services sector.
The financial services sector is continuously growing in Malta and our firms and human resources compliment need to be prepared to ensure business continuity.
The Seminar shall be addressed by Mr. Malcolm Cheshire, Executive Director, Third Margin; by Mr. Joseph Agius from Bank of Valletta and Mr. Joseph Demanuele from the Malta Financial Services Authority.
