During the recent holiday season, Malta Property Auctioneers launched its “6 Days of Giving”, helping the homeless as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility profile.

“Over the years, we have successfully helped thousands of people find a home, but we are entirely aware that there are many out there who cannot afford the luxury of a roof over their heads. This was our opportunity to help just some of those people in ways we normally couldn’t do with our day to day work and a way for us all to recognize the hard work these organisations do to improve the lives of so many individuals”, says Sarah De Cesare Dunkerley, Co-Head of Malta Property Auctioneers.

Malta Property Auctioneers volunteered with several organisations who facilitate the care and support needed for the homeless in Malta.

Throughout the month of December, the company visited Dar Tal-Providenza, the YMCA, Salesian Youth Centre, Caritas San Blas, and Tomasina Cat Sanctuary to assist by cooking meals, gardening, cleaning and sorting laundry.

Malta Property Auctioneers had made a public appeal to help however possible and collected donations at their offices in Ta’Xbiex, which were distributed to the organisations during their visits.
