Farsons Group has collaborated with the University of Leeds to bring to its management team a distinct and prestigious leadership development programme.

The Advanced Leadership Programme was designed for functional experts to hone business skills and shift mindsets from focus on personal productivity and functional management to a focus on team productivity and general management, thus empowering participants to drive organizational strategy within their teams.

With a rich history dating back to 1874, the Leeds University Business School (LUBS) is a leading, full-service business school, world ranked by the Financial Times for its MBA, Masters in Finance and Masters in Management programmes, making it one of the most influential schools in Europe. It holds ‘Triple Crown’ accreditations from AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS, placing it in the top 1% of business schools globally.

Participants had the opportunity to present ideas to Senior Management that were developed as a result of this programme during the Graduation Ceremony held for the group. The group was addressed by Group Chief Executive, Norman Aquilina, the group’s Chief Executive and the Director of Executive Education Programmes at the Leeds University, Tone Thomas Vaduthala before being presented with certificates for this programme.

Farsons Group said it believed in developing its people and has pledged in its mission statement, that it would engage talent and empower them to deliver sustainable and quality-driven operations. Effective leadership is key to the success of an organisation and by investing in this programme the Group said it was reiterating its commitment to developing its present and future management team.
